Jordan Tourism Board, Church of Greece sign draft cooperation protocol

Ammon News - The Jordan Tourism Board (JTB) and the Church of Greece on Sunday at the Baptism Site signed a draft cooperation protocol in the fields of tourism and culture.

Tourism Minister and JTB Chairman Nayef Fayez said that the JTB seeks to establish further relations between the two sides to implement humanitarian actions and procedures that enhance the national heritage for both sides, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

JTB Director General Abdulrazzaq Arabiyat expressed appreciation for the visit of senior clerics of the Greek Church and choosing the Kingdom as religious tourism destination, stressing that Jordan is home to numerous religious sites that are considered major attractions for Christian pilgrims.
