JTB announces inauguration of new flights between Amman, Washington

The Jordan Tourism Board (JTB) announced that an inaugural flight to Amman has taken off from Washington International Airport (IAD)and will arrive at Queen Alia International Airport on Friday.
In a statement, the JTB, said that this step will positively affect the tourist traffic and increase the American travelers heading to the Kingdom.
Tourism and Antiquities Minister and Chairman of the JTB Nayef Fayez said the United Airlines Incorporation will have three weekly operations on the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, with capacity for 243 passengers and will maintain the schedule throughout 2022.
For his part, U.S. Ambassador in Amman Henry T. Wooster said that "We are always pleased to see stronger ties between Jordan and the United States that enhance exports and partnership between our two countries. This new direct link between our two capitals benefits Jordanians and Americans and brings the two countries closer, whether it is to facilitate tourism or improve trade ties or launch a new educational collaboration."
