Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation (JEDCO) Executive Director Abdel Fattah Kayed and an Azerbaijani delegation, led by Small and Medium Business Development Agency of Azerbaijan (SMBDA) Chairman Orkhan Mammadov, on Monday discussed bilateral cooperation.

The delegation looked firsthand at JEDCO's projects for small and medium enterprises in the industrial, agricultural, and service sectors, in addition to its work mechanism and plans for the next three years.

According to a JEDCO statement, Kayed said the visit comes in implementation of cooperation protocols to develop the small and medium enterprises (SME) sector and explore its prospects for the two countries.

JEDCO seeks to make use of formal meetings and keep pace with government efforts to enhance relations with friendly countries, thus enabling Jordanian companies to grow and build partnerships, he added.

For his part, Mammadov expressed interest in future cooperation to develop programs benefiting enterprises in both countries.
