Ammon News - Dozens of Palestinian Muslim worshipers were wounded and others were arrested, early Sunday, after Israeli occupation forces stormed the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, to secure the mass incursions of Jewish extremist settlers, according to Palestinian sources.

The Jewish incursions came in response to calls made by the organizations of the alleged temple, on the occasion of the so-called Hebrew Passover.

A statement by the Palestine Red Crescent Society said that 17 Palestinians were injured during the attacks of the occupation forces near Bab Al-Asbat area, 5 of whom were transferred to the hospital.

"Occupation forces stormed the holy Mosque and assaulted the worshipers and those stationed in its courtyards, amid heavy firing of sound bombs and tear gas," the statement added.
