Zarqa exports exceeded JD15mln last March-ZCC

Ammon News - Head of the Zarqa Chamber of Commerce (ZCC), Hussein Shreim, said the value of Zarqa's commercial exports (re-exports) stood at JD15, 396, 557 during last March.

Meanwhile, the value of Zarqa’s commercial re-exports reached JD224 million in 2021, with a total of 3822 certificates of origin issued by the ZCC, he added in a statement on Saturday.


Exports consisted mainly of cars, construction materials, sanitary ware, medicines and their supplies, home and office furniture, stationery, electrical appliances, clothing, and jewelry, he pointed out.


In addition, he noted 678 certificates of origin were issued according to the ZCC's statistics and its office in the city's free zone.
