The drive, the statement indicated, is held under the title "A Drop of Blood Equals A Life," in support of patients suffering from thalassemia, cancer, hemophilia, blood diseases and children. She said that the number of blood donors usually drops in Ramadan, during which Muslims fast for about 14 hours, making it difficult to donate blood, calling on eligible blood donors to participate in the national campaign.
