Voter turnout of elections reaches 23.82% until 5 pm

The Independent Election Commission (IEC) on Tuesday announced that the voter turnout of municipal and governorate elections reaches 23.82% until 5 pm across the kingdom.

The governorate of Ajloun recorded the highest voter turnout across the kingdom with a percentage of 53.45% until 5 pm, followed by Ma'an with 50.67%, Mafraq with 50.66% and Jerash with 48.64%.

Amman governorate recorded the lowest voter turnout with a percentage of 11.72% until 5 pm.

The total number of voters reached 1.095.689 thousand people.

The following is the number of voters in terms of governorates until 3 pm:

 

Irbid: males 103991, females 90099

 

Balqa: males 39112, females 33908

 

Zarqa: males 40648, females 27935

 

Tafilah: males 10182, females 9116

 

Amman: males 97323, females 68994

 

Aqaba: males 10615, females 7800

 

Karak: males 33275, females 30287

 

Mafraq: males 39823, females 40818

 

Jerash: males 21342, females 20742

 

Ajloun: males 21096, females 20362

 

Madaba: males 18296, females 14436

 

Ma’an: males 18882, females 17157
