Ammon News - Instagram users have been left baffled by a pair of trainers that look like sandwiches. The shoes stocked by fashion store Dolls Kill have caused controversy.

A pair of sandwich inspired shoes have sent the internet into a frenzy as people can't decide if they love or hate the loafers.

The 'Deli Sandwich Platform Sneakers' are made to look just like a sandwich, with a beige bun area and 3D vegan leather salami, lettuce, cheese, and onion filling.

A picture of the new shoes has been shared on Instagram and now people are going mad for the shoes, with some users saying they're the must-have fashion accessory of 2022, as the Daily Star reports.

But not everyone is convinced by the £85 shoes from alternative clothing store Dolls Kill, and they probably don't go with most of your clothes as well.

After being posted onto their Instagram page, Dolls Kill’s 3.8 million followers had something to say about the shoes

Most users couldn't get enough of the controversial pair of trainers.

One user admitted: “I work at Subway and I’d so wear these to work.”

As someone else added: “They are kinda a vibe though.”

And, this user commented: “I’ll wear them, I’m different, you only have one life to live.”

However, not everyone liked them, as some were in disbelief at the unusual pair of trainers - and commented to condemn them.

One person commented: “Hell no.”

Another user added: “Get those out my face.”

While a third user slammed: “Nasty.”

Meanwhile, a contestant on ITV's The Chase has caused a stir online thanks to their 'strange' outfit choice.

Alex, 30, appeared on the show and everything seemed normal, then when she got up to move to the podium it looked as if she had forgotten a vital piece of clothing.

Eagle-eyed viewers noticed that the contestant from Droitwich wasn't wearing any shoes, and was walking around the studio barefoot.

Many fans were surprised at the fact that Alex seemed to have forgotten her shoes and tweeted out about their confusion, but host Bradley Walsh seemed unfazed.
