Arab Youth Council for Climate Change members announced

Ammon News - Arab Youth Centre (AYC) in the United Arab Emirates on Sunday announced a total of 12 members of Arab Youth Council for Climate Change (AYCCC), from 8 Arab countries, including Jordan.

The AYCCC, an initiative under the umbrella of the Arab League, includes 12 young members with "advanced" expertise in the fields of environment, sustainability and climate change, including Mustafa Hashem from Jordan, and peers from Morocco, Bahrain, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Lebanon and Oman.

The council aims to achieve a "qualitative" leap in the interaction of Arab youth with environmental issues, support youth climate action, and engage young Arabs in developing innovative and sustainable solutions to the climate change challenge, the AYCCC's website said.
