Ammon News - Iraq exported more than 1 billion barrels of crude in 2021 and that Indian and Chinese companies had the lion's share of purchases, according to industry sources.
State Oil Marketing Organisation (SOMO) said in a report Saturday that total oil exports last year were at to 1.1028 billion barrels, adding that Indian and Chinese firms were the biggest buyers, followed by US firms.
It said that Iraqi monthly crude exports were at about 91.849 million barrels, with a daily rate of 2.962 million barrels, it pointed out.
Total revenue from crude amounted to about $69 billion, about $5.749 billion monthly at an average price of $68.366 per barrel, it said.
