Qatar Saturday updated its Covid-19 travel precautions, leaving Jordan and other Arab countries on the red list as part of tightened measures amid an "unprecedented" spike of daily infections with the virus.
The Ministries of Interior, Health, Commerce and Industry and other governmental agencies are taking the necessary measures to "ensure adherence to the new health requirements and controls."
Under the measures, the Health Ministry will, as of this evening, update its travel restrictions, keeping Jordan, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Sudan and Algeria on the red list.
