Ammon News - The technical committee, which was formed based on the memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed between Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation (JEDCO) and Egypt's Micro, Small & Medium Enterprise Development Agency (MSMEDA), held its first meeting virtually.
According to a JEDCO statement on Wednesday, the meeting went over the work plan proposed by JEDCO to implement the cooperation areas, mentioned in the memorandum signed last month in Cairo.
The meeting also focused on the 2022 joint work plan, which includes the possibility of implementing several work teams' activities, representing different Jordanian and Egyptian entities, aimed to contribute to strengthening SME-based cooperation, the statement added.
In addition, the discussions looked into benefiting from Egypt's expertise in the field of legislation that provides incentives to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that contributes to increasing employment and growth, the statement pointed out.
