Ammon News -

A repeat thief, against whom more than 10 guilty verdicts had been issued, will now serve 22.5 years in jail, according to a decision taken by the Irbid Court of First Instance.

The Secretariat General of the Judicial Council told Petra Tuesday that the court turned down a request by the convict to drop other sentences against him and allow him to serve one guilty verdict. The court cited aggravating circumstances that necessitate the convict must serve all the sentences against him.
