Cold weather forecast for three days

Ammon News - A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Sunday, becoming around annual average and bringing fair weather in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, while it will be cold in other parts of the Kingdom, with southeasterly moderate winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.

At night, the weather will turn to be chilly in most regions, with southeasterly light winds, the JMD added.

Over the next two days, similar weather conditions will continue to persist, with clouds at medium and high altitudes, the forecasters predicted.

The highs in Amman and other highlands across Jordan today will range between 11 and 13 degrees Celsius, dropping at night to 5C or even 1C in the southern highlands. In the Gulf city of Aqaba, it will be warmer with mercury levels reaching a high of 21C and a low of 10C.
