Jordan's oil bill rises to JD1.2 billion in 3rd quarter-DoS

Ammon News - The Kingdom's oil bill increased during the third quarter of 2021, by 16.4 percent, compared to the same period last year, the Department of Statistics (DoS) announced on Sunday.

According to DoS figures, the value of the oil bill amounted to about JD1.198 billion in the third quarter of 2021, compared to the same period last year, which stood at about JD1.029 billion.

Crude oil topped the list of the Kingdom’s imports of oil derivatives, amounting to about JD532 million, while diesel imports stood at JD247 million, followed by lubricants at JD19 million, petroleum gases at JD118 million, gasoline at JD279 million, and kerosene at about JD2 million.
