Ammon News - The value of certificates of origin issued by the Amman Chamber of Commerce (ACC) in the first 11 months of 2021 totaled JD659 million compared with JD836 million in the same period of 2020, ACC announced on Monday.
The chamber said in a statement it issued 34,054 certificates of origin in 2021, compared with 30,640 certificates in 2020,
The ACC noted that a total of 9,157 certificates were issued for shipments exported to Saudi Arabia, followed by the UAE with 4,572, Oman with 2,215, Iraq with 1,384, and Egypt with 1,047.
In terms of value, Iraq topped the list of export destinations with JD185 million worth of goods and commodities, followed by Saudi Arabia with JD70 million and Egypt and the UAE with JD60 million and JD52 million, respectively.
