Ammon News - The Amman-based Jordan Aircraft Maintenance Limited (Joramco), the engineering arm of Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE), concluded its participation in 2021 Dubai Airshow.
The exhibition highlighted the state of the aviation sector's "gradual" recovery and related industries after the "noticeable" decline due to the Covid-19 pandemic, which led to stability of the demand curve throughout the pandemic period, according to a Joramco statement issued Wednesday.
Joramco forecast an increase in demand for inspection and maintenance services necessary for commercial flights, especially wide-body aircraft, with the return to normal air movement, added the statement.
CEO of Joramco, Fraser Currie, said the company worked "hard and at a fast pace" towards reaching the stage of recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic-related repercussions, which is evident in the increasing demand for the company's services in its hangars, and accompanied by its "continuous" endeavor to expand and develop its capabilities.
Currie said: "Joramco participation gave the company the opportunity to contact its current and potential customers and business partners, and announce the extension of its partnership with Irish company Ryanair, and launch similar steps."
