2nd week of COP26 to focus on poorer countries

Ammon News - The United Kingdom is pledging £300m to help poorer countries cope with the impact of climate change, as the United Nations Climate Change Conference, also known as COP26, enters its second week.

According to UK's PA Media, the majority of the money from the UK will go to help Asian and Pacific nations plan and invest in climate action, improve conservation and promote low-carbon development.

The 2021 COP26 is being held at the SEC Centre in Glasgow, Scotland, during which world leaders, government representatives, businessmen and citizens negotiate to reach agreement on how to tackle climate change.
