Ammon News - The Industrial Exports Services Unit (IESU) at the Jordan Chamber for Industry (JCI) is organizing during this month two trade missions from and to the Netherlands.
The JCI explained in a statement on Wednesday that the missions are part of efforts to boost national exports and promote national products in global markets through upgrading the IESU's work process.
The JCI President, Fathi Jaghbir, said the missions are part of a project implemented by the chamber and supported by the Centre for the Promotion of Imports (CBI) from developing countries, and funded by the Dutch government.
He added the mission also aim at activating the IESU's services and boosting its capabilities by training its staff on the required skills to carry out business supportive projects and initiatives, as well as activities related to entering global markets.
A technical inspection of stakeholder companies' readiness indicated that Jordanian companies participating in the missions were trained at the hands of local and international experts to fill the gaps in terms of needs and capabilities and overcome any obstacles, Jaghbir stated, adding that this training will be followed by a series of activities related to entering the Dutch market and networking with potential buyers.
The IESU was established to represent the JCI in the industrial field locally, regionally and internationally to achieve the chamber's vision to make the Unit the go-to destination for industrialists.
The Unit looks to be a guide for industrial establishments on the proper export foundations by offering a package of services, including inspecting their exporting readiness, market studies based on a technical analysis of international market requirements, exports inspection, enhancing technical export competencies, and linking Jordanian industrialists with potential European buyers.
