Ammon News - McDonald's customers have been left furious as the iconic Chicken Legend has been removed from the menu due to supply issues.

Fans of the popular fried chicken burger are up in arms, as one branded the fast-food chain as 'out of order' and another threatened to riot due to the shortage.

A spokesperson said that "supply chain issues were impacting availability" and that because of this, they had to remove it from the delivery menu.

But it's not all bad news, as the Chicken Legend is still in the restaurants - so anyone who gets desperate can walk to their nearest McDonald's to get one.

Taking to the internet to vent their rage, one fan tweeted: "HOW DARE @McDonald's TAKE THE CHICKEN LEGEND OFF THEIR UK MENU AM ABOUT TO KICK OFF!"

While another said: "Who's blimmin idea was it to take Chicken Legends off the menu? I'm stuck now cos I'm a fussy sod."

And a third added: "I think I’m having Chicken Legend withdrawal symptoms."

"If you were wondering how my mental health is lately" wrote a fourth. "I have just cried because I realised McDonald’s have taken the chicken legend off the menu"

A spokesperson for McDonald's said: "We apologise for any inconvenience, and thank our customers for their continued patience, we are working hard to return the item to our delivery menu as soon as possible."

Meanwhile, over the last 18 months, we've come to appreciate shop workers more than ever before as they bravely continued to go to work every single day during lockdown.

But pandemic aside, it's never been an easy job - with workers having to stack shelves, work on tills, mop up spillages, check stock, and deal with members of the public.

While we'd like to hope all customers are polite and kind to supermarket staff, it's likely not everyone is particularly understanding of their difficult job.

According to one former Tesco employee, some people can be downright rude.
