Ammon News - The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday announced that 6 new coronavirus fatalities and 240 new cases were recorded during the last 24 hours.

In a daily brief on COVID-19 in the coastal enclave, the ministry said that a total of 880 new coronavirus patients have recovered, raising the total number of recoveries to 176,100.

The overall number of COVID-19 infections in the strip reached 182,889, including 5,235 active cases and 1,554 deaths, it added.

The report said 153 cases needed hospitalization and 103 were serious or critical.
