KHCC partners with KRCS, KFH for cancer patients treatment

Ammon News - HRH Princess Ghida Talal, Chairperson of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and Center (KHCC), on Tuesday signed with Secretary-General of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) Maha Al-Barjas, and Abdulwahab Al-Rashoud, CEO of the Kuwait Finance House (KFH), two agreements to cover the treatment costs of cancer patients among Syrian refugees and those coming from the Gaza Strip at KHCC.

Her Highness commended the State of Kuwait for its humanitarian stances, noting the continuous support provided by the KRCS and KFH to support cancer patients for whom there is no entity to cover the costs of their treatment.

The signing was attended by the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Jordan, Aziz Al-Daihani, advisor of the KRCS Musaed Al-Enezi, and KHCF Director-General, Nisreen Qatamesh.

Al-Daihani said that cooperation between Kuwaiti official and civil entities and the KHCC is evidence of the confidence that this leading center enjoys in the Middle East, stressing that Kuwait is committed to supporting humanitarian works and projects with noble goals.

For his part, Al-Rashoud indicated that the humanitarian support provided to the center is part of the charitable and humanitarian work carried out by the KFH as part of its commitment and responsibility towards communities, noting that part of the donation will be allocated to treat patients from the Gaza Strip and the other part will be allocated to the treatment of Syrian refugees.
