Ammon News - The trade minister and the Greek envoy in Amman Monday held a meeting for a discussion on enhancing cooperation on trade and investment.

Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Yousef Shamali and Greek Ambassador Eleftheria Galathianaki discussed means to address challenges facing investors and traders in both countries and to breathe life into the Jordan-Greece committee that promotes economic and culture cooperation.

The meeting also discussed the arrangements underway for the upcoming businessmen forum.

Shamali emphasised Jordan's keenness to strengthen its economic cooperation with Greece, bolster the two-way trade, encourage investment and exchange expertise.

Jordan's exports to Greece in 2020 amounted to USD11.24 million, while its imports from Greece stood at USD49.24 million.
