Ammon News - The Jordan Post Company (JPC) announced Monday that two new commemorative stamps will be available to the public tomorrow morning, according to a statement.
The JPC's spokesperson, Zuhair al-Azza, said that the first issue's theme is "musical instruments," and each press sheet consists of 10 stamps worth 30 piasters each or JD3 in total, in addition to a JD3.5 first day of issue cover.
The second issue, al-Azza noted, is titled "One Hundred Years Since the First Postage Stamp in the Emirate of Transjordan," consisting of a JD1 mini-sheet, in addition to a JD1.5 first day of issue cover.
To grab the new issues, stamp collectors and enthusiasts can head to the JPC's office in al-Muqablain, or the Capital Post Department's offices in Jabal Amman, al-Weibdeh, downtown, Mecca Mall and Abdali, or the Irbid Central Post Office, he added.
