Ammon News - The Jordanian Armed Forces - the Arab Army (JAF) on Monday received a delivery of military equipment donated by the Canadian government.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, the JAF's Assistant for Planning, Organization and Defense Resources, Brigadier Gen. Yousef Khatib, stressed the "deep-rooted" relations between the two countries and the importance of this military assistance to Jordan.

Khatib also thanked the Canadian government for its aid to develop and strengthen bilateral military cooperation.

Khatib and the Canadian delegation, who attended the delivery handover, checked on the newly renovated armoured vehicles and their "advanced" combat capabilities that suit the JAF units' work.
