Ammon News - A Jordanian trade delegation comprising 30 representatives of companies operating in the ICT sector has participated in the 41st edition of the International Fair (GITEX-2021) in Dubai.
ICT sector representative Haitham Rawajbah said that the Jordanian delegation is seeking to get acquainted with the latest technologies in the ICT sector, communicate with exhibiting companies and take advantage of the opportunities available to establish commercial partnerships and network with them.
In a press statement on Tuesday, Rawajbah considered the ICT sector as a basic pillar of national security in addition to its importance as mainstay of the economy, namely, during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The five-day tech event is the largest in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia, with the participation of some 700 companies, representing some sixty countries.
It focuses on 5G, Cloud, BigData, Cybersecurity, Blockchain, Quantum Computing, immersive Marketing, and Fintech.
