Ammon News - Jordan will participate in the 41st edition of GITEX GLOBAL x Ai, the world’s biggest technology sourcing and networking exhibition, scheduled for Sunday at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).

In a statement on Wednesday, representative of the communications and information technology sector (ICT) in the Jordan Chamber of Commerce, Haitham Al-Rajbeh, said that the 5-day event, which attracts thousands of technology enthusiasts from across the globe, will focus on artificial intelligence, 5G, cloud, blockchain, cybersecurity, big data, quantum computing, immersive technologies, fintech and other emerging technologies.

"The event will feature many innovations and support the development of young talents," he added, highlighting the importance of Jordan's presence in international exhibitions to put local manpower on the global map.

Rajbeh emphasized that the Kingdom enjoys attractive and stimulating business environment that combines smart competencies, infrastructure, supportive policies and international agreements, which will entirely push forward possible ICT-related business opportunities.

"Jordan is one of the most advanced countries in the ICT sector, thereupon it is qualified to partake various regional and international events that will undeniably support investment openings and shed light on distinguished national Jordanian expertise," he added.
