Ammon News - The 20th Amman International Book Fair is to commence on Thursday under the Royal patronage, the Union of Jordanian Publishers (JPU) announced Wednesday.
The Book Fair, held as part of the Kingdom’s centenary celebrations, will bring together 360 local, Arab and international publishing houses from 20 countries.
In a statement, JPU President Jabr Abu Fares said that this year’s edition is distinguished as it comes while Jordan proudly celebrates the state's centennial, noting that the exhibition kept last year’s title "Jerusalem, the Capital of Palestine" to reaffirm Jordan’s unwavering position in support of the holy city.
