The statement notes some 112 people tested positive for the highly contagious respiratory disease in the last 24 hours, while 197 people recovered, as the recovery tally tops 232,000.

Ammon News - Qatar's health ministry Saturday said that 83.1 percent of the country's population have received at least one shot of the COVID-19 vaccine.

The Ministry of Public Health highlighted in a statement it had administered more than 4.57 million vaccine jabs since the start of its vaccination campaign.

The statement notes some 112 people tested positive for the highly contagious respiratory disease in the last 24 hours, while 197 people recovered, as the recovery tally tops 232,000.
