Ammon News - The demand for stationery and school supplies has witnessed a remarkable increase during the last two days, coinciding with the return of students to their classrooms, Jordan News Agency Petra reported.
President of the Stationery, Library and Office Equipment Traders and Manufacturers Association Ashraf Kawar told the Jordan News Agency "Petra" on Wednesday that stationery sales for the back-to-school season amounted to nearly 40 percent compared with previous years, noting that the prices are stable and within normal rates, despite the high freight costs and raw material prices.
