Temperatures on Monday are forecast to be around their annual average, with normal summer conditions prevailing in the heights and the plains, while it will be relatively hot to hot in other parts of the country, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
The weather department warned about standing under direct sunlight for extended periods, especially at noon, in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba regions.
The maximum and minimum temperatures in Amman will range between 32 Celsius degrees and 20 degrees at night, while the Gulf of Aqaba will see a searing 40C, dropping to 26C during night hours.
Over the next two days, similar weather conditions will remain, with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD predicted.
