Ammon News - Heavy rains and flooding have forced thousands of people to evacuate in China’s southwestern province of Sichuan, state media reported on Monday.
The rainstorms that started on Friday have pushed up the water to above warning levels in 14 rivers, affecting more than 120,000 residents.
Heavy rain had already caused 250 million yuan ($38.57 million) in economic losses in Sichuan, with 45 houses destroyed and 118 severely damaged.
