4.5 magnitude earthquake hits southwest of Turkey

Ammon News - A magnitude-4.5 earthquake early Sunday struck the Aegean Sea off the province of Mugla, southwest of Turkey, according to the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD).

The Anadolu Agency quoted the AFAD as saying that the tremor, reported at around 7.31 a.m local time, hit the area 44.9 km from Datca district at a depth of 6.74km.
