Ammon News - The latest Israeli military campaign against the Gaza Strip has wrought more than US$ 497 million worth of damage, including US$ 292 million damage to the infrastructure and building sector.
The Palestinian Ministry of Public Works and Housing told journalists in Gaza, Monday, that reporting period on the damage took place between May 25 - June 30.
It said the infrastructure and buildings sector constituted 61 percent of the overall losses, followed by the economic development sector that endured US$ 156 million of losses, around 33 percent; the social development sector suffered a US$ 30 million worth of losses, around six percent.
It highlighted rebuilding Gaza would start within the next three months.
