Former House Deputy shot in 'friendly fire'

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Rakan Qaddah - Former Deputy Husni Muhammad Fandi Al Sheyyab Friday was shot by accident during a lunch invitation in Sareeh, near Irbid in northern jordan.

A security source told 'Ammon News' that Al Eyadat tribe had held a lunch invitation in Sheyyab's honor, and upon his arrival, a young man fired his gun in 'celebration' of the guest's arrival.

Al Sheyyab was accidently hit by two bullets in his stomach and was immediately transferred to King Abdullah hospital.

Medical sources at the hospital noted that Al Sheyyab's condition is stable.
