Police offices in Jordan Wednesday arrested a man suspected of killing a woman in a secluded area in Ramtha city, north of the kingdom.

The Public Security Directorate (PSD) said the partially decomposed body of the victim had been found in a sparsely populated area in the northernmost part of the country. The body was of an Asian female that had been killed and left in the wilderness for months.

Police investigation led to the arrest of an Asian male who is suspected of committing the murder over a dispute with the victim, who had been reported missing.

The suspect was found in Balqa and put into arrest. He had confessed to strangling his victim before he was referred to the public prosecution.
