Ammon News - Temperatures in some cities of the world exceeded 50 degrees Celsius, mostly in the Middle East, in the past 24 hours, which led to high temperatures and a dry atmosphere, in light of warnings of health impacts.

EDW, a specialized US website in monitoring temperatures around the world, ranked 13 Arab cities among the hottest regions in the world, in the past 24 hours, with temperatures exceeding 50 degrees. EDW also published a list of the highest 15 degrees recorded around the world, as the 7 highest temperatures were recorded in 7 Arab cities.

Kuwait recorded the highest temperatures in several cities, the highest of which in the Jahra city, west of Kuwait city, which recorded 50.2 degrees Celsius, and some cities in Iraq recorded high temperatures, the highest of which reached 49.3, at Basra International Airport.
