Jordan's health authorities make COVID vaccination easier for travellers

Ammon News - People in Jordan who wish to take the second COVID-19 vaccine jab faster for travel purposes would be able go to the Prince Hamzeh Hospital in Amman and take the dose.

The Ministry of Health (MoH) said only individuals over 18 years who need to travel by air would be able to expedite the date of their second jab provided they produce their bookings with the necessary receipts, adding that those who wish to travel by land or sea should show their visas.

It said those who have taken the first jab must wait the recommended periods to take the second jab as per each vaccine type states.

It said students over 17 years who need to travel can submit an application to the Prince Hamzah Hospital and should bring all the necessary documentation, including a letter of acceptance and a paid-for flight ticket. They must seek the necessary approvals from the MoH's Communicable Disease Directorate.
