In a press statement on Sunday, the ministry said monitoring authorities visited about 20,267 businesses during June 1-12 period across the Kingdom, adding that fines were issued against 19 shopping malls, 34 cafes, 15 factories, and 22 popular restaurants, in addition to 42 clothing stores, 177 supermarkets, among others. Meanwhile, 128 violations were issued against individuals for failing to wearing face masks and observing social distancing rules, added the statement.
