Ammon News - he Saudi ambassador to Jordan, Nayef bin Bandar Al-Sudairi, was briefed at Halat Ammar - Al-Modwarah border crossing on Tuesday, checked on services provided to Saudi citizens coming to Jordan, after lifting the suspension of travel for Saudis.

In a statement, Ambassador Al-Sudairi stressed the importance of concerted efforts from all concerned authorities to provide all services to travelers through Halat Ammar-Al-Modawara, and to provide what is necessary to serve and care for Saudis abroad, in conjunction with the generous directives from the brotherly Jordanian side to be satisfied with the procedures in force in the Kingdom Saudi Arabia and the organization for the segments allowed to travel in accordance with the requirements announced on the accounts of the embassy, on social media and on the website.

The requirements include "negative PCR test result with no more than 72 hours before entering the Jordanian territory, and obtaining two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine or one dose given 14 days ago, with attaching proof of this for the purposes of exempting them from the PCR test upon arrival at the Jordanian port.

The requirements also stipulated that those wishing to come in cases other than the above, including those who had previously been infected and recovered from the Coronavirus, perform another PCR test at the Jordanian port, the result of which is negative, and they are required to register on the http://www.gateway2jordan.gov.jo platform and adhere to the previously applicable conditions, and with regard to citizens under the age of 18, they must submit a medical insurance policy covering Covid-19 inside Jordan.

At the end of the tour, Ambassador Al-Sudairi lauded the efforts and preparations made by the administrations at the port on the Saudi and Jordanian sides, and their interest in serving travelers between the two brotherly countries.
