In a statement, JTF’s Treasurer Faisal Abdallat said the tournament, which will be held at the Kempinski Hotel, will bring together 110 Asian athletes, 16 of who will direct qualify for the Tokyo Olympics. Abdallat indicated that 5 players will be representing Jordan in the tournament, expressing hope that they will qualify for the Olympics. "Preventive measures as per government guidelines for COVID-19 will be strictly implemented during the tournament, as all participating teams will be checking into the hotel and will not be able to leave it until Sunday," he added. Ammon News - Jordan will be hosting the 2021 Asian Taekwondo Olympic Qualification Tournament for the Tokyo Olympic Games, which will kick off on Friday in Amman, the Jordan Taekwondo Federation (JTF) announced Monday.

In a statement, JTF’s Treasurer Faisal Abdallat said the tournament, which will be held at the Kempinski Hotel, will bring together 110 Asian athletes, 16 of who will direct qualify for the Tokyo Olympics.
