Jerusalem clashes

Ammon News - Participants in a protest that took place Monday evening in front of the Irbid Grand Camp Mosque, northern Jordan, condemned the barbaric and brutal Israeli attacks carried out by the occupation forces and settlers against the people of the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in the holy Jerusalem (Al-Quds Al-Sharif), as reported by Petra.

The participants in the protest, called for by popular, political and partisan entities, underlined that Jerusalem is the key to return and victory, and that violating the rights of the legitimate owners of land in Sheikh Jarrah and the rest of Jerusalem's neighborhoods is an affront to the entire Palestinian cause.

They denounced "the international silence" regarding what is happening in Sheikh Jarrah in terms of killing and systematic assault that affects the rights of the landowners and those standing in Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

They also demanded a more powerful and effective international move to stop the Israeli oppression.

They asserted that these attacks and violations will enhance Palestinians at home and abroad's insistence and adherence to their right and their just and legitimate cause, and the establishment of their state on their land with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.

Protestors saluted the steadfastness of the Jerusalemites against the Israeli military oppression and war machine, demanding their support from inside and outside, and they called on Arab diplomacy to support Jordanian efforts and diplomacy that makes every effort to stop the Palestinian bloodshed and end the Israeli arrogance.

They stressed that Jordan will remain supportive to the Palestinians, and that the Hashemite custodianship of the Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem will not be relinquished.
