The agreement was signed by the PSD's Assistant Director of Management and Logistical Support, Brig. Gen. Mutasim Abu Shatal, and the RSCN's Chairman, Khalid al-Irani. The office will protect the biological diversity in the Burqa' reserve, a falcon training reserve located 200 km east of Amman. This agreement is an extension of a memorandum of understanding signed recently between the department and the RSCN, which aimed at boosting cooperation to protect the environment and wild species.

Ammon News - The Public Security Department and the Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature (RSCN), on Thursday, signed an agreement to establish a tourism and environment office in the Burqa' Reserve to serve biological diversity protection programs and to implement inspection programs in the area.
