Tourism Jordan

Ammon News - The Cabinet decided to treat Arab tourists as Jordanians in the amount of fees paid to enter Jordan's museums and archaeological sites, starting May 1 to December 31, 2021.

In a press statement put out on Sunday, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Nayef Fayez, said the Cabinet's decision comes to stimulate inter-Arab tourism and increase tourist groups flocking the Kingdom from brotherly Arab countries.

The decision reflects "positively" on Jordan's tourism sector and contributes to activating the tourism movement, amid plans aimed to reach a safe summer in the Kingdom in the coming period, according to the minister.

Fayez added that the decision comes to spur Arab brethren to spend their vacations in Jordan, and to enhance the Kingdom's competitiveness to attract more Arab tourists who wish to see the country's "unique and varied" tourism product.
