Foreign ministry follows up on Jordanians residing in India

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, on Friday, reaffirmed its continuous follow up on the conditions of Jordanians residing in India, in coordination with the Jordanian embassy in New Delhi.

Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Deifallah al-Fayez said that three COVID-19 cases were detected among Jordanians there and were totally cured, stressing that no Jordanians died due to the Indian variant.

Al-Fayez called on Jordanians residing there to contact with the Jordanian embassy to enable it follow up on any case.

The number of Jordanians in India do not exceed 100 persons, al-Fayez said.
