Ammon News - A parliamentary delegation during a visit to Russia has discussed Jordanian-Russian relations, as well as the Kingdom’s key role in preserving regional security and stability.

Talks during Jordanian MPs’ meeting with members of the Russian State Duma focused on means of advancing the two countries’ ties in the fields of economy, commerce and culture, as well as promoting Jordan’s tourist destinations, notably the religious sites, including the Baptism Site and Madaba, among others.

Discussions also covered the Kingdom’s fixed stances towards supporting Arab issues, foremost of which is the Palestinian cause, with the two sides stressing that the sole way to end the conflict is the establishment of an independent Palestinian state along the June 4, 1967 lines with East Jerusalem as its capital, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Sunday.
