Minister of Transport, Wajeeh Azayzeh, said that the Kingdom has stopped receiving travelers who have not yet been out of India for at least two weeks, as of Sunday.
Azayzeh added told he Jordan News Agency (Petra) on Sunday that this step comes amid to the development of the epidemiological situation due to the mutated Coronavirus, and it will be open until the epidemiological situation there stabilizes.
A number of countries have suspended flights with India, fearing that the mutated Indian version of the Coronavirus will reach it, but Jordan has stopped receiving travelers from India only due to the absence of direct flights between the two countries.
