Ammon News - Mercury is set to record about 9-10 degrees Celsius degrees higher than their seasonal average and the weather is relatively hot in the highlands and plains, and sizzling in the rest of the Kingdom's regions, Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
However, light and scattered showers of rains are forecast in limited and different parts of the Kingdom, with southeasterly moderate winds, causing dust in the Badia regions, the JMD announced.
In its report, the JMD warns of the danger of slippery roads in regions that see downpours, urging the public to avoid direct exposure to sunlight in the Badia areas, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, and take caution of low horizontal visibility due to dust in the Badia regions.
On Sunday, temperatures will slightly drop, and the weather will be moderately fair in the highlands and plains, and hot in other regions, the JMD report noted
Also on Saturday, temps in Amman will range between 35C, dropping to 19C during night, while the Gulf of Aqaba will see a blistering 39C, dipping to 24C during night hours.
