Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh issued Circular No. (31) for 2021, according to which citizens are allowed to walk around on foot for one hour to perform Friday prayers in accordance with the medical protocol prescribed by the Ministry of Health.
Circular No. (31) which was issued on the basis of the provisions of Clause (Eight) of Defense Order No. (19) for 2020, includes mandating the Awqaf Minister to determine the start and end time of the mobility hours.
The Prime Minister is also entitled to amend the provisions of Circular 31 in light of the epidemiological situation according to circulars he issues for that purpose, provided that the provisions of this circular shall take effect as of Friday morning, corresponding to 4/23/2021, until further notice.
