There have been no reports of blood clotting in recipients of the AstraZeneca-Oxford coronavirus vaccine in Jordan until now, said Nizar Muhaidat, General Director of the Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA).

Muhaidat told the Jordan News Agency (Petra) on Wednesday that all reports received by the Administration from the vaccine recipients were among the expected and normal side effects, with nothing unusual.

"General side effects include fatigue, headache, muscle pain, joint pain, chills, fever, nausea and vomiting," he added, stressing that events reported after vaccination are being inspected by specialized scientific committees.
